That’s why you’ll find an ASE-certified technician under the hood of your car at Auto Care Plus. We refer to them as technicians, not mechanics, and we’ve made the investment in recruiting and training the best technicians possible to work on your car.

Auto Service Locations

Auto Care Plus operates from 10 convenient locations. Our original establishment is situated in Merrimack, New Hampshire, close to the Bedford town line. Merrimack opened its doors in 1984. Our second location is located in Manchester on Candia Road, just beyond the entrance to East Industrial Drive. Our third facility is in South Portland, ME, positioned at the end of Westbrook Street near the Maine Mall. We offer a courtesy shuttle service to the city of Portland and the Maine Mall from this location. Our fourth location is in Wolfeboro, NH, servicing the beautiful lakes region of NH. We extend our services to the North Country through our shop in Conway, NH, situated right on Rt 16.

Our sixth location is found in Hooksett, NH, specifically on Hooksett Road. Our first build to suit, location is our beautiful Derry, NH location with 12 bays. Location number 8 is Roberts Auto Service (Auto Care Plus Lebanon) which is location up interstate 89 not even a half mile off exit 19 on the NH/VT border. Number 9 is Dupont’s Service Center (Auto Care Plus Dover) with nearly 8 ASE technicians and 4-5 service advisors on staff. Auto Care Plus Londonderry will be our 10th location with an opening date of early fall. Londonderry ACP will be located on Route 102 right next to Renegades Pub and Dominoes. At all our locations, our team of ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified mechanics is well-versed in today’s cutting-edge automotive technology. They are fully equipped to proficiently manage all significant and minor auto repair services for both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Experts recommend changing the oil and oil filter in your vehicle every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever is first. It’s an essential way to maximize engine protection. Oil changes at 7,500 miles are usually too long an interval for most common driving conditions.

Cooling System Service

Flush cooling system, pressure test, check hoses, cap and check connection.

Air Conditioning Service

One of our trained Air Conditioning specialists will inspect your car’s air conditioner, all NC lines, evaporator and compressor for leaks and wear.

Driveline Service

Remove old worn out gear oil from the front and rear differential and transfer case.

Fuel/Air Induction Cleanup

Using specialized equipment our technicians will quickly and effectively clean intake manifold, ports, intake valves, and combustion chamber. Install injector cleaning additive in tank. This service will restore lost power and performance and will reduce harmful exhaust emissions.

Power Steering Flush

Our technicians use a powerful cleaner to dissolve gum and varnish in your car’s power steering unit. Next, we will flush old, worn-out contaminated fluid and install fresh new fluid fortified with a special antioxidant and anti-wear ingredients to prevent expensive mechanical failure.

Transmission Service

Using the latest in state-of-the-art technology, we will install a safe and effective cleaner to suspend harmful varnish and sludge from the transmission valve body, torque converter and lines. Install new high-tech fluid with conditioners.
