Schedule Service

Toyota earned its reputation in New England the hard way — through twenty-below mornings, mud season, and highways salted from November to April. Auto Care Plus services the full Toyota lineup across our New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine locations, from the Corolla and Camry to the RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, Sienna, and the Prius hybrid family. Our ASE-certified technicians follow Toyota’s factory maintenance intervals and use the diagnostic depth these vehicles deserve.

Built to Last — but Not Maintenance-Free

The engines and transmissions in most modern Toyotas will outlive the rest of the car if the fluids are changed on time. What actually brings Toyotas into our bays is everything around the powertrain: water pumps, wheel bearings, suspension bushings, and exhaust components that have spent a decade absorbing road salt. Catching those items during a Vehicle Health Check is far cheaper than chasing them after a failure.

Hybrid Service Without the Dealer Markup

Prius, Camry Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, and Highlander Hybrid all use Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, and it is genuinely durable — but hybrid battery cooling fans clog with dust and pet hair, inverter coolant needs replacing, and the 12-volt auxiliary battery fails in ways that look like a catastrophic hybrid fault and are not. We diagnose the difference before anyone talks about replacing a traction battery.

Rust Is the Real New England Tax

Toyota trucks and SUVs from the mid-2000s through the mid-2010s are known for frame and brake line corrosion in salt states. We inspect frame rails, fuel and brake lines, and subframe mounting points on every Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner that comes through, and we tell you what we find in plain language — including when a repair is no longer worth it.

Winter Preparation Is Its Own Service

A Toyota that starts every morning in January is not an accident. Before winter we check battery state of health rather than just whether it cranks, because a battery at 60 percent capacity starts fine in October and fails at minus ten. We test coolant freeze point, inspect wiper blades and washer system function, verify heater and defroster output, check tire tread depth against what New Hampshire and Maine roads actually demand, and confirm that four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive systems engage properly. On a Tacoma or 4Runner that sees a plow or a trailer, we also look at front end components and cooling capacity. None of this is exotic work, and all of it is far cheaper than a tow.

Inspection, Maintenance, and Everything Between

We handle NH and ME state inspections, scheduled maintenance at the 30/60/90 intervals, brake and tire work, and check engine light diagnostics on every Toyota model. If your Toyota has a warning light, an odd noise, or an inspection due, schedule at the Auto Care Plus location nearest you.
