Schedule Service

Ford builds the best-selling vehicle in America, and in New England the F-150 shares the road with a deep lineup of Explorers, Escapes, Edges, Rangers, Broncos, Transits, and the Mustang. Auto Care Plus services all of them across our New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine locations, including EcoBoost turbocharged engines, the 5.0-liter Coyote V8, PowerBoost hybrids, and Ford’s 10-speed automatic.

EcoBoost Engines Need the Right Maintenance

Turbocharged EcoBoost engines are powerful and efficient, and they are also less forgiving of neglected oil changes than the old naturally aspirated engines they replaced. Turbochargers depend on clean oil at the right viscosity, and direct injection means the intake valves never get washed by fuel, so carbon buildup accumulates over time. We use the correct specification oil, watch change intervals closely, and offer intake cleaning when the symptoms warrant it.

Trucks That Actually Work

A truck used as a truck — plowing, towing, hauling — lives on a severe service schedule, not the normal one. That means more frequent oil and differential service, closer attention to brakes and front end components, and real inspection of the cooling system before summer towing season. We service fleet trucks and personal trucks with the same approach.

Diagnostics Beyond a Code Reader

Modern Fords are network-dense vehicles with dozens of control modules. A check engine light is a starting point, not an answer. Our technicians perform module-level diagnostics, programming, and ADAS calibration, which matters after a windshield replacement, an alignment, or front end collision repair on any Ford equipped with forward-facing camera or radar systems.

Towing and Plowing Change the Schedule

If your F-150 pulls a boat, carries a camper, or pushes snow, the manufacturer severe service schedule applies rather than the normal one, and the difference is substantial. Oil intervals shorten. Transmission fluid, which the normal schedule may push past 100,000 miles, deserves attention around 50,000. Differential fluid, transfer case fluid, and brake inspection all move earlier. Cooling system condition matters enormously when towing in July, and front suspension and steering components take real abuse from a plow. We build the schedule around what the truck actually does, and we would rather inspect a cooling system in May than diagnose an overheat on I-93 with a trailer behind you.
